“Heat of summer, water of winter, sweetness of autumn, smile of spring…”
Every season has its specific value to the sauna experience. In winter we have snow and ice, the vihtas are made of pine and spruce and hot baths are below the stars. In spring I apply the early greens to underline the contrasts. In summer the focus is on the richness of flowers. Autumn is the time for fireworks of colours and scents.
A sauna treatment normally takes 3-5 hours including rests, baths and light massage. Lappalainen Sauna is a slow process that consists of several sessions, each session differing from the other.
Shampoo, body products, towels, slippers and sauna robes are provided, as well as tea, juice and snacks. From time to time, I organize open sauna days but mostly I work by appointment only.

I sometimes set up the jurttasauna in a spectacular place, far away from everything, in nature in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Sign up for my newsletter and you wont miss out.
